Keywords Analyzer vs Keyword Elite - head to head video

We tried an interesting exercise recently - I put together a head-to-head shootout between the two leaders in this keyword research market. Our own Keywords Analyzer and Keyword Elite.

The challenge was to see how quickly each program could produce 10 000 top keyword results for the keyword search term : Mortgage, together with search counts.

Keywords Analyzer did the job in just shy of 47 seconds - it took Keyword Elite over five hours (and a lot of the keyword search results were not at all relevant to the original search term)

Keyword research - What does R/S mean in Keywords Analyzer

I caught this question being asked a few times on the SERPS so thought it may be a good idea to answer it here.

Keywords Analyzer / Overture and other sources

One of the issues I want to address head on is the use of Overture in Keyword research tools.

Over the last few years there were a number of keyword research tools that relied solely on Overture (because it was free and did not involve hefty subscription charges) for keyword data. Tools using Overture included such titles as our own Keywords Analyzer, Adword Analyzer, Keyword Elite and the Dowser, among others. (more…)
